For clinics

The EHR — AI scribe, imaging viewer, orders engine, inbox, scheduling, billing, full Master Equation integration — is free for every US-licensed clinical practice. There is no per-seat license, no implementation fee, no support tier you have to buy into. Solo NP, twelve-provider group, hospital floor: same software, same price, no caps.
What a practice provides is the infrastructure the system runs on: three on-prem compute nodes (clinical workstation, AI inference, chain validator) and one local storage cluster for the patient vault and imaging cache. We publish the reference build — commodity hardware, around $14k all-in — and we ship the install media. The clinic owns the boxes, the clinic owns the data, and the clinic runs its own node on the Conceptual Chain.
Running that node turns the practice into a Network Clinic: every block your validator signs earns HCR, every patient encounter that flows through your storage contributes to research and earns HCR, every cohort the University runs against your de-identified data earns HCR. The clinic keeps it. There is nothing to offset because there is no bill — the rewards are pure upside on hardware you already own.
For exchange & chain
Standard fee tiers. No hidden spread.
hc.exchange charges a maker/taker fee that scales by 30-day volume — the lowest published in the consumer-tokenized-asset space. Conceptual Chain charges a small per-transaction fee paid in HCR; the fee is burned, not pocketed. Virtual cards for HCR redemption are free at standard tier and have no foreign-transaction fee at gold tier.
