Why we exist.
American healthcare measures volume — encounters, claims, RVUs, fills. It does not measure whether a person is getting healthier. We built Conceptual Health® to measure the second thing, in a way that is rigorous enough for clinicians, transparent enough for regulators, and meaningful enough for the people whose lives it represents.
The Master Equation is the unit. The eight axes are the dimensions. HCR is the receipt that an axis moved with verifiable evidence. The chain is the public record. The eleven properties are how the same model shows up across the front door, the clinic, the wallet, the pharmacy, the university, and the community.
What Conceptual Healthcare Corporation does.
- Holds the patent on the Master Equation methodology (U.S. application 63/921,717).
- Operates the eleven properties — software, infrastructure, support, partnerships.
- Holds one of eleven validator seats on Conceptual Chain. The other ten are independent institutions.
- Holds five of thirteen seats on the Trust Council. By rule, we cannot reach majority.
- Negotiates payor and provider contracts — the commercial layer that connects the platform to the wider U.S. healthcare system.
- Privately-held Florida C-corp. Founder-funded, no outside capital raised, no SEC filings on record. Pre-funding posture →
What we don't do.
- We don't hold the chain alone. 1-of-11 validator weight; cannot finalize a block without 6 other institutions.
- We don't hold the Council alone. 5-of-13 seats; cannot pass a motion without coalition with at least 4 non-operator seats.
- We don't custody patient HCR/HCC ourselves. a regulated custodian (named on the trust ledger when seated) is primary custodian; a regulated custodian (named on the trust ledger when seated) is backup. Both are SEC-registered, FDIC-affiliated banks.
- We don't see patient data. Datavault holds the encryption keys; the operator's read access is limited to operational telemetry, never identified records.
- We don't market HCR or HCC as investments. They are commodity-class digital assets earned through clinical or data-economy activity. We do not promote them on financial channels.
Built by us. Owned by us. Coded by us.
Conceptual Healthcare Corporation was founded, capitalized, designed, and built by Raymond M. Lahti and Maria R. Lahti, MD — entirely from personal funds. There is no outside investor, no convertible note, no venture round. The two founders are the only holders of record. The corporation operates under a perpetual royalty-free license to the founders' personally-held intellectual property — the Master Equation patent, the Conceptual Health® mark, the HEALTHCOIN™ mark, and every other mark in the family.
Our build standard, codified in the Founders' Charter, is to write our own. Every layer of the stack — the EHR, the AI scribe, the chain client, the wallet, the exchange, the Datavault key custody, the pharmacy interface, the church and university platforms, the recovery flow, the email server — is engineered in-house by the corporation. We do not embed third-party SDKs in the data path. We do not license a SaaS layer to hold PHI. We do not run on a shared-tenant database. There is no "powered by" in our footer because there is no "powered by" in our infrastructure.
This is not a marketing posture. It is the only posture under which we can credibly sign HIPAA, HITECH, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, state medical-board, DEA, and FinCEN obligations as the sole responsible party. Every record, every access, every encryption key, every audit trail is ours to control and ours to defend. There is no subcontractor whose breach is also our breach. There is no vendor whose pricing change becomes our patient-care change. There is no acquirer who buys our customers because they bought our stack.
The goal is straightforward: to be the best medical corporation in the world — measured by patient outcomes, security posture, regulatory compliance, and operational integrity. That goal is incompatible with a stack we don't control. So we built the stack.
The Trust Council.
The Council is the governance layer above the operator. Thirteen seats: 5 operator-aligned, 4 validator-institution rotating, 2 patient-advocacy, 1 regulator-acceptable nominee, 1 permanent independent ethics seat. Operator-aligned votes never reach majority by rule. The Council governs the Chain, the eleven properties' privacy guarantees, the HCR/HCC mint mechanics, and any change to Council composition itself.
This is the honest answer to "what stops you from changing the rules?" — the rules are not ours alone to change. The Council's governance log is public, every vote is recorded, every dissent is named.
The Master Equation.
CH = (S × Sp)C × (T + E)p × (ER × RS)C/3
Eight measurable axes — Physical Outcomes, Nutritional & Metabolic, Energy & Reserve, Sleep & Circadian, Recovery & Stress, Emotional & Social, Therapeutic Adherence, Preventive Vitals. Each axis has a defined measurement model with peer-reviewed clinical literature behind it; each axis-lift event with verified evidence triggers an HCR mint. The model and the mint policy are described in detail at coin.health/about.
Our patent posture.
Patent 63/921,717 covers the methodology — the eight-axis composition, the verification-to-mint pipeline, the integration with a public ledger. We license the methodology to network participants under standard terms; we do not enforce against academic research, public-interest replication studies, or competing systems that don't claim equivalence to the Master Equation.
"Integrity in all we do."
It's the line at the bottom of every page on every property and we mean it as more than a tagline. Every decision the operator makes — every event-class addition, every reversal, every privacy guarantee — passes through the Council. Every mint event lands on a chain whose validators we do not control alone. Every patient consent class is granular and revocable in one block. We did not have to build it this way. We built it this way because the alternative is worse.
