Where we are
Phase 1 — founding state.
Conceptual Chain entered live operation with a single internal validator operated by Conceptual Healthcare Corporation. We chose to ship the chain with one validator and a public roadmap rather than wait until a multi-institution set was in place. Every block since genesis has been signed by this single validator. The chain hash chain, the SHA3-256 IP attestations, and the audit-grade event ledger are all real and independently verifiable today; the multi-institution Byzantine-fault-tolerant consensus is the next milestone, not a present claim.
Phase 2 — multi-institution BFT.
The architectural target is an N-of-M BFT validator set drawn from licensed healthcare institutions, regulated custodians, and at least one sovereign health authority, geographically distributed across multiple jurisdictions. Onboarding criteria, slot count, jurisdiction policy, and the BFT threshold (likely 7-of-11 once the set is fully seated) will be ratified by the CH governing body and recorded as on-chain governance amendments before going live. We will publish prospective validator nominations as they advance through Trust Council review on the governance log.
What we will not do.
- We will not list an institution as a validator on this page until it is live in the validator set, signing real blocks. The list above is read directly from the chain, not from a slide deck.
- We will not weight any validator above 1-of-N. Every seat has equal vote.
- We will not allow Conceptual Healthcare Corporation to hold more than 1 of the N seats once Phase 2 begins. The operator's writes will pass through the same threshold as everyone else's.
- We will not retroactively rewrite validator history. The audit chain shows that for every block in the founding period, exactly one validator signed.
